The library was purpose-built as an open learning space for both students and teachers to ‘branch out’ in their learning. It provides a space for STEM activities, Think Tank, Chess and Language classes, before and after school care, parent information sessions and staff professional development.
The children enjoy the Book Week activities each year that include visiting authors and a book character parade. The children also enjoy weekly library lessons and book borrowing as well as taking part in the Premier’s Reading Challenge.
Our school library is a precious and highly valued space.

Staff foster a culture where reading is encouraged and celebrated, and texts are deeply valued for their ability to help students understand themselves and their world. This ‘reading culture’ contributes positively to students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development.
Our students can access authentic, age-appropriate resources at any time through the Oliver library management system and ACEN digital library’s Sora app.
